Domain Fees Disclosure
Transparent fee disclosure is an industry and ICANN reseller expectation. This page explains the types of domain fees NextShopper may charge. Live prices appear on the storefront, search results, and checkout.
1. Fee types
| Fee | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Register | First-time creation of a domain for the selected term (usually 1+ years) |
| Renew | Extending an existing registration before or during applicable grace periods |
| Transfer | Moving sponsorship to our upstream registrar (term extension rules vary by TLD) |
| Restore / redemption | Recovering a domain after expiry during the redemption period — often significantly higher than a standard renew |
| Privacy / proxy | Optional masking of public RDAP/WHOIS display where offered |
| DNS / security add-ons | Optional extras if listed at checkout |
2. Currency and tax
- Sell prices appear in BDT and/or USD as selected.
- Prices are tax-exclusive unless a line states otherwise.
- For billing country Bangladesh, VAT 15% is added when our tax engine applies.
- Checkout shows item subtotal, tax, and total before you pay.
3. Premium and non-standard pricing
Some names are premium or registry-reserved with higher create and/or renew prices. The price shown for that exact string at search/checkout controls. If the registry returns a different premium price at commit time, we may cancel and refund that line under the Refund Policy.
4. What invoices include and exclude
Retail prices embed upstream registry/registrar costs; we may not itemise a separate “ICANN fee” line unless we display such a pass-through. Payment-gateway or bank FX markups charged by your provider are outside our invoice.
5. Price changes
Registry cost changes may force prospective retail price updates. Renewal invoices use then-current renew pricing unless a written promotion locks a rate.
