Domain Registration Agreement
This Domain Registration Agreement (“DRA”) applies whenever you register, renew, transfer, restore, or manage a domain through NextShopper. It supplements the Terms of Service and Registrant Rights and Responsibilities.
1. Parties and reseller disclosure
1.1 You enter into a registration relationship that is ultimately sponsored by an ICANN-accredited registrar (for gTLDs) or an authorised registrar/registry channel (for applicable ccTLDs). NextShopper is a reseller, not the accredited registrar.
1.2 Upon inquiry, we will identify the sponsoring registrar for your domain. Educational ICANN materials: https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en
1.3 You appoint Next Shopper IT Solutions LLC as your agent to transmit registration data and commands to the upstream registrar.
2. Incorporation of third-party terms
You agree to: (a) the sponsoring registrar’s registration agreement and policies; (b) the applicable registry’s policies; (c) ICANN consensus/temporary policies for gTLDs (including Transfer Policy, Registration Data Policy, and UDRP/URS where applicable); and (d) this DRA. If required terms are updated upstream, they apply to your domain as of the effective date published by the registrar/registry/ICANN.
3. Accurate registration data
3.1 You must provide and update accurate registrant, admin, technical, and billing data.
3.2 Willful provision of inaccurate data, or failure to update, can lead to suspension or cancellation.
3.3 You must respond to registrar/reseller verification inquiries within the required period (commonly fifteen (15) days).
3.4 WHOIS/RDAP publication or gated disclosure follows then-current policy; privacy/proxy options, if purchased, follow Section 7.
4. Fees and term
4.1 Fees for register/renew/transfer/restore/privacy/redemption are disclosed before payment (Domain fees) and on the Invoice.
4.2 Registration terms are typically one or more years as selected at checkout. Renewal is your responsibility even if reminder emails fail.
4.3 After expiry, domains may enter grace, redemption, or pending-delete periods per TLD rules; restore/redemption fees may apply and can be substantial.
5. Transfers
5.1 Outbound transfers require an auth/EPP code and unlocked status, subject to policy.
5.2 A 60-day lock (or other lock) may apply after registration or inbound transfer.
5.3 We may deny transfers that violate ICANN/registry policy, court orders, or unpaid fees for the domain.
6. Use of the domain
You are solely responsible for use of the domain and any website/email on it. Illegal use or AUP violations can result in suspension at registrar, registry, or NextShopper level.
7. Privacy and proxy
Where privacy/proxy is offered, the service provider’s terms apply. Until any ICANN Proxy Accreditation Program rules mandate otherwise, we follow upstream registrar specifications on privacy/proxy. Underlying customer data must still be accurate and available to the registrar as required.
8. Dispute resolution for domains
Trademark and cybersquatting disputes for gTLDs may proceed under UDRP, URS, or court. This DRA does not replace those procedures. You agree to be bound by decisions rendered under applicable domain-dispute policies.
9. Suspension and cancellation
Domains may be suspended for AUP violations, legal process, registry/registrar locks, unpaid renewal, or accuracy failures. Cancellation does not generally create a refund after successful create (Refund Policy).
10. ccTLDs
Country-code domains (including any .bd offering via authorised channels) follow the local registry’s eligibility, documentation, and dispute rules, which may differ from gTLDs.
11. Limitation
Domain availability, continuous resolution, and third-party DNS uptime are not absolute warranties. Liability limits in the Terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
