Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how NextShopper uses cookies and similar technologies on https://nextshopper.com.bd. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
Bangladesh Digital Commerce Operational Guidelines require that if a website uses cookies, visitors must be made aware of them upon visiting. This Policy and our on-site notices fulfil that requirement. Non-essential cookies are used only with consent where required.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags. They help websites function, keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used.
2. Who sets cookies?
First-party cookies are set by NextShopper. Third-party cookies may be set by payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, bKash) when you are redirected to or interact with their checkout flows, under their own policies.
3. Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (essential)
Required for security, session management, load balancing, CSRF protection, shopping cart, checkout, authentication, and locale. The site cannot function correctly without them. Examples include session cookies, XSRF-TOKEN, cart identifiers, and locale preferences stored in session.
3.2 Functional
Remember choices such as UI preferences beyond basic locale. Used only if enabled.
3.3 Analytics
Help us understand aggregate traffic and improve reliability. Used only if enabled and consented where required. We prefer privacy-respecting configurations and avoid selling analytics data.
3.4 Marketing
Not a core part of NextShopper’s default storefront. If introduced later, they will be listed in an updated notice and will require consent where required.
4. Consent and control
4.1 Where required by law or Bangladesh digital-commerce guidance, non-essential cookies will not be set until you opt in (banner, preference centre, or equivalent).
4.2 You may withdraw consent by clearing cookies and adjusting preferences when a preference tool is available.
4.3 Essential cookies continue so that login, cart, and checkout remain available.
4.4 Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may break the Services.
5. Retention
Session cookies typically expire when you close the browser or after a short period. Persistent cookies last until their configured expiry or until you delete them.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy by posting changes on this page. Material changes to cookie use will be reflected in the on-site notice.
