Why verify your email on NextShopper?
Email verification proves you own the address on your account. NextShopper uses that inbox for invoices, password resets, domain Form of Authorization (FOA) messages, and security notices. Until you verify, delivery is less reliable and some account reminders stay on the Home banner.
This guide shows how to complete verification from the portal Home page or Account, and how to request a fresh link if the first one expired.
Who this guide is for
- New customers who just created an account
- Anyone who changed email practices (new inbox, spam filtering) and never finished the link
- Business owners who registered with a shared mailbox and need the right person to click
Before you start
- Sign in at Sign in with the same email you used at registration.
- Be ready to open that inbox on a phone or computer (including spam / junk / promotions folders).
- Use a browser where you are already signed into the portal when you click the link, or you may be asked to sign in again after verification.
If you cannot access the inbox at all, update access with your email provider first—or contact support from Contact using a message that clearly states the account email. Do not create a second account just to “start over.”
Step-by-step: verify from Home
- Open the client portal and land on Home.
- If verification is still pending, look for the banner: Verify your email so invoices and domain notices can be delivered.
- Select Resend verification.
- Check your inbox for a NextShopper message with a verification link.
- Open the link. You should return to the portal with the email marked verified (the banner disappears).
Step-by-step: verify from Account
- In the sidebar under Account, open Account.
- If you see This email is not verified., select Resend verification email.
- Open the new message and click the link.
- Return to Account—the unverified warning should be gone.
What happens next / how to verify success
- The Home verify banner no longer appears.
- Account no longer shows the unverified email warning.
- Future invoices, FOA confirmations, and password resets can reach that address reliably.
Verification does not charge your card and does not change your products. If you already purchased domains or hosting, they remain under My products.
Common problems
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| No email arrives | Wait a few minutes, check spam, then use Resend verification once more |
| Link expired | Request a new link from Home or Account; only the latest link works |
| Wrong inbox | Confirm the address on Account; if it is wrong, contact support before creating another account |
| Clicked link but still unverified | Sign out, sign in again, and refresh Home |
| Corporate filter blocks mail | Ask IT to allow NextShopper messages, then resend |
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the portal before verifying?
Yes. You can browse and manage products, but you should verify soon so FOA and billing mail are not missed.
Does verification expire forever?
Individual links expire. You can always request a new one while signed in.
I verified but FOA still failed.
FOA is a separate registrant confirmation for domains. See How to confirm the registrant email (FOA).
Will staff ask me to forward the verification email?
No. Never forward secrets or password-reset links. Staff can resend from admin tools when needed.
